Today the Inveni team played some frisbee golf. My team lost but it was still a lot of fun. I suck at frisbee golf! I am absolutely loving my new job!

Today I had my first canning experience while making strawberry jam. Thanks to my friend David for showing me how. I now have a ton of strawberry jam, but I predict it will be gone within four months. If you like to can, let me know what your favorite thing is to can in the comments.

Yay! I just finished my 7th Red Ribbon Ride! It was super hot today and I don’t think I have ever sweated so much in my life. We are now waiting for closing ceremonies at the capital at 1:30. Thanks again to everyone who donated to support some wonderful organizations and enabling me to do this ride!

This was a picture of the lunch pit today. Their theme was the Red Ribbon Ride airline. They even had the TSA and flight attendants serving us! Today was a much better day as we weren’t pulled off the route due to bad weather. I chose to ride alone today and book it so I could get into camp before the heat arrived. I ended up getting done with 74 miles by 12:20. I think that is a record for me on the RRR! It was probably one of the easiest days I have had on the ride as well. Overall, a really good day.

We just finished dinner. Unfortunately, they pulled us off the route today at Pit #3 due to the storms. I know their jobs is to ensure a safe ride, but I am still bummed about not doing every mile. This will be my first RRR where I haven’t been able to ride every mile. Hopefully the weather will be more cooperative tomorrow.
